Partner and Counsel Appointment as of April 2023

Marieke Lüdecke and Thomas Hinrichsen

We are very pleased to announce that we have appointed Marieke Lüdecke as partner and Thomas Hinrichsen as counsel as of 1 April 2023!

It fills us with particular pride that, following Dr Christos Paraschiakos last year, another colleague, Marieke Lüdecke, has now gone all the way from career starter to partner. Marieke started as a lawyer at Chatham Partners one month before the firm opened its doors seven years ago. On her development path to partner, she completed a secondment at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and also made time for her young family. It is hard to imagine the firm without her as a competent advisor and excellent team player. Marieke advises on energy law with a focus on project developments and on drafting and negotiating energy supply agreements - in particular PPAs, project development agreements and cooperation agreements.

Thomas Hinrichsen joined Chatham Partners in December 2021, bringing with him many years of experience in energy and competition law as well as infrastructure and energy projects. In doing so, he has developed a particular focus on advising on complex regulatory and judicial proceedings. He has become an integral part of our team within a short period of time, and we are therefore particularly pleased about his appointment as counsel.

Congratulations and good luck with your new tasks, dear Marieke and dear Thomas - we thank you for your trust and cooperation and look forward to the future together!
