Chatham Partners advises bondholders on EUR 358,000,000 debt assumption for offshore wind project financing

Under the lead of Daniel Reichert-Facilides, Chatham Partners advised on the debt push-down of the existing project financing for the offshore wind farms “Hohe See” and “Albatros” in the context of a change of control.

The debt push-down is a central feature of the divestment of CPPIB’s participation in the offshore wind farms “Hohe See” and “Albatros” and its acquisition by the Canadian energy supply company Enbridge. Acting on behalf of the bondholder and the agent, Chatham Partners drafted and negotiated the documentation for the debt assumption and the restatement of all existing financing agreements.
